- Add the user to the Active Directory (AD) group corresponding to ZTNA.
Evaluate which ZTNA groups are needed before performing the inclusion.
1. Download the Installer
Please visit the following link to download the Netskope installer:
Click on the link and wait for the file to download.
2. Run the Installer
After the download is complete, locate the file .dmg on your computer and double-click to open it.
The installation wizard will start.
3. Allow Proxy Release
During the installation process, Netskope may request proxy-related permissions.
When the prompt asking for permission appears, click Open System Preferences. This will take you to the screen Hammock nose System Preferences.
Grant the necessary permissions to release the proxy and continue with the installation.
4. Allow Third-Party Applications
After installation, you need to authorize Netskope to run on your system:

- Go to System Preferences.
- Select option Security and Privacy.
- Em “Allow apps from”, select “App Store and Known Developers”.
- On the flap General, if a blocking alert appears, click on Allow to authorize the execution of third-party applications.
5. Allow Full Disk Access
To ensure that Netskope has the necessary permission to function properly, you will need to grant full disk access:

- Go to System Preferences.
- Select Security and Privacy.
- On the flap Privacy, scroll until you find the option Full Disk Access.
- Click the padlock in the bottom left corner and enter the administrator password to make changes.
- Mark the Netskope Client in the application list to grant the required permission.
6. Allow Netskope extension
To enable the extension, follow the steps below:

- Select the Apple menu in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Please click System Settings.
- In the sidebar, click General.
- Scroll down and click Login Items and Extensions.
- Endpoint Security Extensions: Check if the Netskope Client Extension is enabled. If it is not, click Allow to authorize the extension and ensure system protection.
7. Login to Netskope
After installation and configuration:

- open the application: When starting the application, in the “Netskope Tenant” field, type “Tramontina”.
- Click “Next”: Proceed to the next step.
- Login: Use the email or account provided by IT. The username must be the same as the domain (example: yourusernamerio@tramontina.com), and the password is the domain password, the same one used for email or VPN.
- Close window after authentication: After authenticating, the window can be closed.
- Authentication every 7 days: Authentication will be requested again after 7 days.
8. Restart the Computer
After completing the login, it is recommended to restart your computer to ensure that all settings are applied correctly.
